I donโ€™t think memorizing the operators of the lens library would have been very useful if you didnโ€™t understand a lens conceptually; and I think once you cross the conceptual barrier memorization definitely has its advantages, but I think thatโ€™s the order we should go in, not the latter, as it just facilitates bad learning</p>
