it will not surprise you that this game requires me to bring all of my skill and mastery to solo "easy" (difficulty 2/9) every time, and "medium" (3/9) easily obliterates me

this is the skill curve i want!

@whitequark arma-enjoyer confirmed

i especially love how the menu where you are doing that is fiddly nonsense (there are up to 3 settings, scroll-up changes one, scroll-down another, mouse-right the third) which is difficult to do if, say, your sights are zeroed wrong and you're surrounded by enemies

it SHOULD be fiddly nonsense

the game SHOULD hate you and try to annihilate you at all times

only through struggle your will shall persist

helldivers has the most extensive weapon settings menu i've ever seen in any game, excluding arma
you can:
1. turn flashlight on/off (normal)
2. single/burst/auto (less common)
3. zero your sights (very uncommon)
4. change cyclical speed of a machine gun (holy shit i have never seen this before what!!! this is so cool)

The nice thing about today is the constant reminder that no matter how awful you think you are, Jesus thought you were worth saving.

Soyrizo, just egg, imposible. Eaten plenty of that stuff! I was eating very vegetarian, borderline vegan for a while. I like having meat as part of my diet but being lactose intolerant and caring about the planet I try to reduce my consumption for sure :)
