The cameras cost $2500 to install and $2500/year to lease. On that note, they are leased equipment and the Flock contract forbids cities from touching the cameras in any way (I&#39;ve read the contract). </p><p>If there&#39;s any way to fight the cameras, it might be at city hall. If you read council minutes, a lot of people were leery of the cameras at the start and PDs were underplaying the privacy concerns. Might be a potential wedge there.</p>
