It's not like I had access to an actual Pascal compiler, or even much of a computer! So all that mattered was what I could think of.</p>

This will just prevent people who bought stuff legally from backing it up or using it on a different type of device.</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.online/@JHB17" class="u-url mention">@<span>JHB17</span></a></span> you can for sure — the issue is the format that those books are in that you download from the cloud to the kindle (as opposed to download from browser to desktop that you then send over usb) is in a much stricter DRM format so if you also say have a Remarkable tablet or a Kobo, removing the DRM becomes more complex and less reliable.</p>
