<p>I am currently in a position to write a garbage collector. I have never actually written a garbage collector before, despite working *on* garbage collectors professionally on multiple occasions and having, uh, published work on the subject actually. I am really looking forward to this. Anytime this week I have a bad-feeling day, I&#39;m just going to be burning with irritation thinking: *I could have spent today writing a garbage collector*.</p>

<p>ok I personally think framework laptops are way too expensive and mostly just milking the open hardware crowd without meaningfully engaging with the values that underpin that community, much in the same way that the RPi did with a lot of their hardware, but DANG it does feel good to see clear cases coming back in fashion</p>
