<p>Trying to decide if I should take this journey in Nov or Dec. In Nov I had booked myself 4 days of leave. In December I have a week. Instead of stopping at Taiping, however, I&#39;ll be going on to Penang. It feels like it needs more than a week to do. Thinking about decommissioning this instance as it currently exists perhaps by the end of the month, as I haven't really gotten a lot out of (let alone even used) the fedi for quite a while now, and the same is true for many of our crew, so even though hosting costs are low, they're still not really worth it anymore. Plus we defeated every interesting potential adversary here ages ago. I may eventually stand up a new instance using free infrastructure later when I find the time and motivation again, but I don't know when or if I'll bother to get the current database restored there. With this in mind, I suggest anyone save their own copy of anything they might be really attached to here, and start creating/pointing people to alts on other instances they may intend to use down the line.
