<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> I do. Pretty much 24/7. šø</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> Iām not mad like I was in 2016. Iām heartbroken and confused.</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> I want to agree, but I feel like thereās a huge difference wrt 9/11. I hate it but at the same time, itās hard to imagine any other way to react to 9/11 than to reelect whichever asshole happened to be in charge at the time. It just seems like a perfectly reasonable, if flawed, response to trauma</p><p>But wtf was Trumpās 9/11? Covid? Trump voters donāt even believe Covid was real! Trump was rejected in 2020, Republicans failed to capitalize on 2022 inflation, and now they get in power????</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> </p><p>Sorry all. This is much worst. Bush, at least respectfed the institution. </p><p>Doesnāt mean we give up. It sucks.</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> </p><p>Iāve been subject to repeated shocks ever since 1963. Iām not sure how much longer I will last.</p>
<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> 2004 is an apt comparison. I was prepared for a loss yesterday (vs the shock of 2016), but the magnitude this time is truly heartbreaking, and feels even worse than the rejection in 2004. As with then, we have to start again from scratch. Let's hope we have an Obama somewhere on the bench again...</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@film_girl" class="u-url mention">@<span>film_girl</span></a></span> I JUST said this, almost verbatim to my wife. Could not agree more. 2004 was one of the worst heartbreakers I can remember (2000 was my first presidential vote)</p>
