<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://phire.place/@phire" class="u-url mention">@<span>phire</span></a></span> this is interesting to read because i'm fairly aware of my own relationship with attention and metrics. on my websites, i haven't had metrics for... too long to remember, over five years probably. i don't miss it. but on social media, i relied and rely very heavily on the same</p><p>i think the difference is that attention i get on social media is quite easy to filter and turn into reciprocal conversation (with some skill! perhaps not a common one) but on a blog it's near impossible</p>
