Listen. I’m in Alabama, which is one of the *very* few states that doesn’t have early voting, which is so red that OxyClean can’t help, and which is so politically lopsided that a bunch of seats up for grabs don’t even have a Democrat candidate. Know what I’m doing on 5 November? I’m voting so hard for Kamala Harris that it’s gonna leave permanent marks on the table and make the foundations of the church fellowship hall (our polling place) crack. I don’t give a shit what anybody says; EVERY vote counts.

@gamingonlinux this is getting suckier by the minute now

@gamingonlinux It's also broken on Windows; F1 24 has seen computers BSOD on the game closing due to EA anti-cheat.

Why people would ever trust EA again, I have no idea.

@gamingonlinux I'm unconvinced kernel-level anticheat meaningfully improves the gaming experience for anybody. Wonder if there's any stats on that... Seems totally unnecessary and intrusive to me.

I'm a Linux gamer so it's sad to see all this mess, wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft was somehow encouraging companies to do it.

is FTDI too evil to put on a MNT Reform motherboard? need a well supported quad (actually just triple) USB UART chip that can handle 1.5mbit on two of the UARTs.
