There's a great podcast (which my partner pointed me to) "Technology won't save us". If you read (well, listen) to one thing this week, I recommend this episode on DOGE https://techwontsave.us/episode/264_how_doge_is_remaking_the_us_government_w_makena_kelly #uspol

I wasn't aware of how much stuff they already changed and are doing. What a tech coup, and what a strange world we're living in right now. :/

It always has been the "lesser evil" option to some extent, i don't think there were that many firefox fanboys who constantly praised it as as a great browser that is very comfy to use.
> Are they stupid?
Probably, some of their employees are lil bit disconnected from reality and others are too busy, too hesitate or too powerless to speak up against them. That said, chrome threatens to limit the functionality i find necessary for main web browser (i.e. adblockers), so using for me personally it makes exactly as much sense as using temple os as a gaming platform.

A pair of 25Mhz Motorola 68NC040 processors. While the 68LC040 lacked an inbuilt FPU, and the 68EC040 lacked both FPU and MMU, the 68NC040 lacked FPU, MMU, and CPU to come in as the cheapest 25Mhz processor on the market in 1991.

I don't get it what the fuck is Mozilla thinking. You do this shit when you have monopoly like Google has with Chrome, not when you're minor browser and you go and alienate those few loyal users left. Are they stupid?
