Let me not start about gender for build systems - I have meeting in half an hour. 😅</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@fontenot" class="u-url mention">@<span>fontenot</span></a></span> i think some of this shift is because texting is now the primary and oftentimes only method of communication, which means that both the sync and the async use cases get squished into it. nobody uses phone calls anymore, it&#39;s not a thing! so if you need an answer *right now* you still use telegram or whatever</p>
