<p>I&#39;ve had a number of ~Chinese people reach out to me with information, who asserted numerous times throughout the email that they need to stay anonymous due to the political climate. The fear is palpable in some.</p><p>I also have a WeChat. WeChat&#39;s registration system requires an invite, and it&#39;s quite particular about who can invite you. In my experience, WeChat users are reluctant to send invites. The looming social graph is obvious.</p><p>It&#39;s all... Humbling. Makes me appreciate what I have.</p>
