<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> I think (if I'm remembering the layout right) that this "design decision" falls out of wanting to be able to get at the DBGBREAK bit by itself at times (avoiding scanning in/out 32bits of extra overhead).</p>
