<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> <span class="h-card"><a href="https://bitbang.social/@slaeshjag" class="u-url mention">@<span>slaeshjag</span></a></span> Yeah, that's what I've heard too. Friend of mine got it to transmit but not to receive, and now he wants to re-make the boards because he doesn't know if it's a microchip thing or if the boards weren't soldered up correctly :D</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> what's divided by 11? did i miss something? xMII clock rates are nominally 2.5, 25, 125 MHz on 4/4/8 bit buses</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://ioc.exchange/@azonenberg" class="u-url mention">@<span>azonenberg</span></a></span> no i mean the bit where it's divided by 11 for some reason</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://ioc.exchange/@azonenberg" class="u-url mention">@<span>azonenberg</span></a></span> have you seen this one weird trick to reduce the number of vias in your PCB design?</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> only rgmii but yes its divided rate at low speed</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://bitbang.social/@slaeshjag" class="u-url mention">@<span>slaeshjag</span></a></span> the PHY sure does behave in a ... weird manner</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://ioc.exchange/@azonenberg" class="u-url mention">@<span>azonenberg</span></a></span> you worked with RMII right? is this normal RMII behavior or are Microchip designers on drugs?</p>
<p>exhibit A / exhibit B</p><p>am i delirious or does this PHY just... not comply with the RMII spec??</p>
