@danirabbit Yeah that's definitely different. Not sure if I should ask but I am curious. Have you had any scares? I ask because wife cousin.. and I admit I am ignorant of terminology he likes to dress up in women's clothes but does not go all out with it. He still has a beard just likes the dresses skirts and shoes. Well me and him have went places many of times and other than some double takes and stares I haven't noticed anything and he has never confined in me that he ever feels scared.

@kev I’ve been meaning to write (and still might) a similar post about my 14” M1 Max MacBook Pro. Obviously I paid like 4x what you did but I still feel like it’s the best computer I’ve ever owned. I fully intended to upgrade when the M3 come out, now we’re looking at the M4 and I still doubt I’ll be tempted.

5-6 years is about how long Apple officially supports things (maybe up to 7-8?) so that lines up, but you also have to factor this in: they still sell your laptop brand new through a special deal with Walmart for $699 (currently $649 actually!) which means they will support it longer usually. I think $649 for an M1 air is easily the best deal I have ever seen for a computer in my life. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Apple-MacBook-Air-13-3-inch-Laptop-Silver-M1-Chip-8GB-RAM-256GB-storage/715596133

@kev been toying with the idea of an upgrade on mine as I have the 8GB Air too but can't justify it when it keeps chugging along.
