Complaining about intrusive ads and 'spying' on YouTube, then when YT comes out with for-pay ad-free version people say "I'd never give my money to google". Or this article on onsets, where the author, who writes new articles about the evils of big tech every day, tells us that paying $300 a year for a search engine AS A PROFESSIONAL TOOL is 'bonkers expensive' (https://www.osnews.com/story/136829/the-end-of-the-googleverse/). We'll see how everything will play out.

@meeper@udongein.xyz that's okay - interestingly, we don't get alot of pakistanis here in southeast asia - most of the indian muslims which emigrated here (from a long time ago; separate from more contemporary indian emigration) came from the south, tamil nadu etc so they brought alot of their own culture etc. with them it's also a reason why you'll see and hear alot more tamil spoken; i don't see alot of devanagari in the wild
