<p>I wrote a blog post about what it is like being <a href="https://discuss.systems/tags/womenintech" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>womenintech</span></a> within the framework of <a href="https://discuss.systems/tags/moralphilosophy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>moralphilosophy</span></a> and ethics. <a href="https://discuss.systems/tags/consistencyforthewin" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>consistencyforthewin</span></a> <a href="https://irenezhang.net/blog/2024/07/24/misogyny.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">irenezhang.net/blog/2024/07/24</span><span class="invisible">/misogyny.html</span></a></p>

There was also a vaguely reactionary relaunch in ~2004 that we don't talk about. Mage:20 is the current version and, while I like it, it's an excellent example of second system syndrome -- really could have used an editor or three.)</p>

<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://hachyderm.io/@cliffle" class="u-url mention">@<span>cliffle</span></a></span> fascinating! I should look into Mage</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> Really the complicated part here is that the technique this character has devised could be applied to other peoples' brains. Potentially without consent. So that'll be...interesting.</p><p>no chance that'll get used for evil right</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://hachyderm.io/@cliffle" class="u-url mention">@<span>cliffle</span></a></span> <br />pros: you have someone to rely on<br />cons: twice the amount of email</p><p>can you imagine.</p>
