At least my version became less cursed when I stopped needing to use the remote cable protocol from the host to talk to my local USB port and could instead just use <code>openFPGALoader</code> to load new bitfiles. Thank you for all of your work towards the point where hopefully no one will ever have to touch that abomination ever again!</p>
<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> maybe scheduler moves task to “efficency”/“boost-less” core when focus changes? </p><p>I was surprised to learn that even top of the EPYC line can’t boost all the cores to max freq and out of 9000 cores you’ll have at most 90 and only if power budget allows to boost them. Duh.</p>
<p>I sometimes wonder if I&#39;m being too stubborn on LLMs. I can acknowledge their utility for certain tasks, but I also look at their many negative externalities. I&#39;m just not on-board with any of that. Also, I derive the most enjoyment from slowly figuring things out for myself and honing my own skills. Maybe an LLM would help me solve problems faster, but I&#39;m much more interested in figuring out how to solve problems better. Of course, maybe it&#39;s just a pride thing at this point.</p>
