If someone is willfully destroying best scenario I&#39;m giving them one warning and blocking after they ignore it.</p><p>But when judging whether someone is doing destruction with intent to destroy I try to give a big bag of benefit of a doubt. If there is a drop of possibility that the edit was just accidental whoopsie or someone learning how to do wiki I recognize it and try to help instead.</p><p>Another part that is important to me is - minimize the damage. When choosing methods of reaction - prioritize wiki&#39;s availability to be most accessible to potential new editors. Protections and general/non specific abuse filters should be last resort, not the first tool that an administrator is using. If you lock entire wiki for new editors or make it frustrating to edit the vandal may have achieved more than they bargained for.</p>
