Because pictures have to be done externally to work right, they are a tracking mechanism and many e-mail services default to not showing pictures now.</p><p>Anyone who sends me an email can count on me not having pictures enabled and thus unable to see whatever they wasted their time putting in said pictures. (This obviously excludes attachments.) I will not be clicking "show pictures."</p>
