<p>Filipinos should have a bit of pride in themselves, so they won&#39;t appear &quot;too nice&quot;, &quot;too clingy&quot;, &quot;too friendly&quot;, etc. but don&#39;t be xenophobic or racist. Making friends is really simple in our Filipino society, and it&#39;s not just for foreigners either. You should see the racist treatment of others and the way others treat their own citizens.</p>

Filipinos are &quot;too nice&quot; by foreigners&#39; standards, their friendliness can be overwhelming, but this is not limited to foreigners. I have witnessed the unpleasant treatment of other nationalities towards their own people. I came to the realization that, in contrast to other nationalities who distrust their own people, Filipinos are more amiable toward foreigners yet not rude to their own people.</p>
