<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@neuronakaya" class="u-url mention">@<span>neuronakaya</span></a></span> That&#39;s okay, but when I hear &quot;intellectual,&quot; it means someone who spends their time looking for ways to defend an ideology. I once was asked, because I read so much, if I were an intellectual. I had to say no because I neither follow nor espouse any political ideology. &quot;Religions&quot; are political ideologies, and I have no use for any of them at all. I am greatly in favor of direct democracy aka anarchy which, despite many arguments to the contrary, is not an ideology. It is just people getting together to figure out what problems are and how to deal with them. It&#39;s done by consensus, not competition. There are no pre-experiential schemes here, thus, no ideologies. That&#39;s what we should be doing.</p>
