<p>*klaxon blaring*</p><p>⚠️ AURORA ALERT ⚠️</p><p>For those that aren't aware, there was a significant X4.5 <a href="https://thingy.social/tags/solar" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>solar</span></a> flare earlier today. The NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center is predicting the CME from that event will arrive on Monday, Sept 16 (UTC) as a G3 geomagnetic storm!</p><p>For people in North America, that means early Monday morning, possibly all the way into the evening.</p><p>For Europeans, late Monday morning into Tuesday. </p><p>For Aussies et al, early Tuesday morning?</p><p><a href="https://thingy.social/tags/aurora" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>aurora</span></a></p>
