<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> someone once told me how, as a chemE student, they had gotten ahold of a little bit of solid calcium. With their friends/roommates (also chemE), they were having a laugh using a water sprayer on this pièce of Ca, and making it explode into ever smaller bits. One of those bits landed in an open Nutella jar. Nutella doesn't have nearly enough (liquid) water to make the Ca explode. The mouth of the roommate eating directly from the jar with a spoon, however... 😬</p>
