I feel like my understanding in this regard is comprehensive enough but I'm sure some redditoids will bicker and bitch about it nevertheless. This is still primarily a game for the Japanese market, according to player numbers, and they primarily need to satisfy that audience. And really there's no way they could "adapt" a 500+ hours story for 3 additional languages differently without me learning at least a smidgeon about it, since 3 of 4 languages play on the same servers.
