<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@shriramk" class="u-url mention">@<span>shriramk</span></a></span> </p><p>I’m still curious about the various projects that seek to physically simulate mammalian brains (including eventually human brains) at various levels of resolution (all the way down to networks of neurons).</p><p>If consciousness is entirely in the topology of the connections and the firing thresholds of the neurons, there’s nothing in principle stopping this from working (that “if” is doing a lot of heavy lifting though, and I’m not qualified to speak on this at all really).</p>
