<p>not actively inviting a company that does mass surveillance for fascists into the community shouldn't be a high bar, for anyone, least of all a programming language whose team claims to care about equality and inclusivity</p><p>years ago i asked rust-lang to align their decisions with their stated values (of "black lives matter"), which they very much did not and as far as i know do not to this day. well, i've got a few more decades at least to keep reminding everyone of this</p>
