<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@poleguy" class="u-url mention">@<span>poleguy</span></a></span> it's so bad and so immensely impactful on my wellbeing that I would shell out the price of a new washer/dryer the same day without a thought simply because it would cost me more (in terms of wellbeing and income subsequently lost) to not do it</p><p>(I'm too principled to actually do that but it's on my mind every time I fix something. I only had a washer break once though, it was easy to fix with a screwdriver and some swearing, and it was my own fault)</p>
