<p>After 3 years of being dormant, I've picked up my Sony CRT project again. The goal is to make an 8" monitor for retro gaming. All it needs is a VGA interface board and a 120V DC power supply. Soldering the power board is for tomorrow. Today, I tackled the easy stuff: replacing the contraption on the left by the new PCB on the right. I added an I2C EEPROM to the PCB to store the EDID.</p>
