A different way to put it is that every view has affordances, and those affordances will naturally be somewhat different.</p><p>Of course, if you actually defined the view and the operations were limited to those that crossed views, you would recover much of that. For instance, you could offer only a unicameral view. But then you would lose the benefit of the bicameral system, an affordance the other views don&#39;t have. But you lose something, too. ↵</p>
