<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@whitequark" class="u-url mention">@<span>whitequark</span></a></span> I just had to decipher an API at work for which documentation is super sparse and it took me a bit to realize they intended me to serialize JSON into a string inserted as the value for a JSON key "data".</p><p>It didn't work when I sent straight JSON, I thought it had just been printed weird for the docs, it had to be double-enveloped to work.</p>
