Someone had a (in restrospect, dumb/misguided) idea at creating a Mastodon instance. 270 people used it. Mozilla decided to prioritize time and resources on other things. It isn’t like thousands or tens of thousands of users are suddenly without a Mastodon server. The fediverse isn’t impacted one way or another. Nor are Firefox users</p>
