I was right on the very early edge of personal computers--my first programming was actually a course for kids, but we went to the local college and fooled around with punched cards and got to see neat stuff. Then schools started getting TRS-80s and stuff. </p><p>Regarding math/physics. I took a lot of those classes as a math major. I don't recall ever seeing a CS major in any such course beyond the required calculus course.</p>
