<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://recurse.social/@stephenrkell" class="u-url mention">@<span>stephenrkell</span></a></span> I usually mix things up with coding exercises so I'm not always actively talking. However, something is usually going on for the whole day. </p><p>There are some interesting tradeoffs though. I don't grade papers or hold office hours. Also, since the course is "all at once", there's a certain flow to the whole affair. </p><p>I also feel like there's a pretty clean separation between "teaching" and "not teaching" which was difficult to achieve in academia.</p>
