<p>I get a lot of emails from people who bought elementary OS 2, 3, 5 years ago and want a free download of the latest version. You can always get a free download of course, but I need repeat customers to be sustainable. It’s a struggle out here and paying just a small amount when you download is how I pay rent and buy food</p>
