Because in German it's "Sitzplatz" so "seat space" or "sit space" or "sit place" or whatnot. How "space" turns into "character" only the LM itself could maybe tell you. If you poke it long enough. Or it might just be some dumb shit that oozed its way into production differently. Personally I don't fly anymore because I am sure that this auto-generated crap is in the control systems as well by now.</p>
