<p>i know syntax is the ultimate bikeshed in PL design but the problem is it’s very hard to see past when getting a feel for a language unless you’ve spent time studying semantics</p><p>i wonder if there’s any value to a project like <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@shriramk" class="u-url mention">@<span>shriramk</span></a></span>’s mystery languages, but in reverse, where the same AST & semantics has many swappable concrete syntaxes</p>
