<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.green/@CiaraNi" class="u-url mention">@<span>CiaraNi</span></a></span> I agree with your idea of how it _should_ be, but in every place where the traffic code isn't what we think it should be, it's our duty to abide it, else we endanger ourselves and other road users.<br />A person accidentally wandering into the road where cars have the right of way can get themselves killed and a driver imprisoned. I can't imagine creating such a situation, so I always do what the code says, and I believe we all should.</p>
