<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@shriramk" class="u-url mention">@<span>shriramk</span></a></span> I enjoyed the post very much.</p><p>However, I felt that the remarks on 'parsing' didn't align with my experiences: I certainly have witnessed Lisp implementations that were directly traversing the output of "read" (either during interpretation or code generation) and possibly threw syntax errors from there, and they didn't have any distinct parsing stage</p>
