<p>I'm calling it "the periphery". while SOME of it is useful, it does absolutely nothing for the core product delivered: a metrics cluster. but you have to have ansible for machines, a ton of yaml for kubernetes, another ton of yaml for github actions which are just complicating everything, then throw three different kinds of templating and oh wait guess what the vm some stuff in running on? terraform in the mix. so my periphery is now 100 more than the ACTUAL config of 13 HUGE ASS CLUSTERS 2/3</p>
