For me, I notice that on bird site whenever I log in, my feed is lots of people complaining or discussing tragic real world evts... </p><p>There is such stuff on the fediverse (ofc, it's important and has a place), but the lack of the algorithmic feed means I also get to see a lot of people just doing normal stuff, posting about their day, geeking about stuff they like, which is refreshing!!!</p>
