<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@isagalaev" class="u-url mention">@<span>isagalaev</span></a></span> I've noticed that too a few years ago with new hires... they had zero interest in the technology beyond their specific area of expertise. They wouldn't be caught dead coding something for fun in their free time.</p><p>And I guess, fair enough. But it does limit them in situations where a problem encompasses a range of technologies or goes deep into the basic layers of old tech.</p>
