<p>just discovered that creating a new WINEPREFIX makes it eat 1.7 GB of space and now i suspect i know why my 2 TB SSD is so full</p><p>i was creating a *lot* of them, basically for every application, assuming they were like... full of links to the real binaries or something</p><p>nope it copies almost two gigabytes of windows userspace into each and every one</p><p>at least it's fast</p>
