<p>One lesson learned from the recent <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Fosstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Fosstodon</span></a> drama is that one of the biggest limitations of <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> is not being really designed to allow migrating from an instance to another. It would be much nicer if posts were treated more like atomic entities, univocally signed/hashed so to allow users to freely move their content around instances</p>
