<p>Had a nice chat with a retired couple at last night's jazz gig. "Our son also plays trombone, he'll join us later" they said. So, he shows up and we chat. Turns out "also plays trombone" means touring with the Broadway touring production of Beetlejuice and at some point before that, playing 2700 performances with Cirque du Soleil. Needless to say, perhaps teaching for <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@shriramk" class="u-url mention">@<span>shriramk</span></a></span> prepared me for this new level of imposter syndrome as I prepare to take a solo.</p>
