<p>Just got word from the doc that her white blood cell count looks good and they'll be weening her off her pain meds(fentanyl). If all goes well, she should be discharged in about 4 hours.</p><p>Strangely enough, I'm having flashbacks to 28 years ago when I was shuttling between work and Seattle Childrens Hospital for a week when my daughter was in for congested lymph nodes. Thought it was the end of the world at the time.</p><p>Emotions and memory are funny things.</p>
