I have long held a largely silent ambivalence about the scientific Python ecosystem. No interest in using it. Don't want teach courses on it. Don't want to talk about it. Ironic given my background.</p><p>But, none of this really has anything to do with the software itself. If anything, it's been more of a revulsion to the attitude of people seeking answers without understanding ("just use this tool."). That's not what drew me to Python. I don't work like that.</p>
