<p>I spent Mon and Wed teaching my accelerated intro class about PoW and blockchains. (Yes, don't worry, I wasn't mindlessly pro. I still think they are technologically very interesting.) What's the state of Proof of Useful Work systems? I've seen a few proposals; haven't studied them closely.</p>
