Especially because some people say these things *seriously*, and others then get confused and can't tell the difference, and take this as an actual rule.</p><p>"Teach, but not too much" — I virtually never hear a research university person say "Research, but not too much". If anything, research is used to cover up all kinds of sins.</p><p>Sorry I got triggered.</p>
