<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://aus.social/@Salvo" class="u-url mention">@<span>Salvo</span></a></span> never got used to audio books myself, but I can definitely understand: a good voice actor can do wonders!</p><p>Related, I was always fascinated how Pratchett could show his characters' accents. From the Scottish brogue of the Feegles, to the posh Vetinari, to the street talk of Colon and Nobby. Somehow I can just "hear" their voices by reading the words on the page.</p>
